Victor Winter founded Amor in 2014. After years of working in retail and living in Baton Rouge, LA, Victoria recognized that many shoppers would drive in from Lafayette. It seemed all too clear that Lafayette needed its own shopping destination. So, backed by her business partner sisters -- and retail veterans -- Andrea Lang and Rebecca Butler, they assembled a mix of timeless to on-trend designer collections that were not yet available in Lafayette. Amor was born!

Mamie Bihm joined the team on day one; Mamie's love for fashion has been a lifelong relationship growing up in Lafayette. So in 2019, when Victoria and her family moved to Charleston, SC, Mamie took over the day-to-day operations of Amor, and Victoria ran the online division. And as they say, the rest is history. 

The pandemic has pushed the store to branch out from just a brick-and-mortar store to an online destination that ships our hundreds of orders per week. Thank you for joining us on this exciting expansion into the new world of retail!
